The Saskatchewan Safety Council's Power Pac Program is pleased to offer free safety presentations for students in K-6 in your school. We want to teach them to be safe in the areas they get hurt: falls, sports, electricity, fire/burns and water. Children will learn about risks at home and play and be made aware of the potential dangers we all face everyday.
A member of our Power Pac team, a group of young people trained by the Council, will deliver the presentations. Presentations are designed for one class at a time to ensure that students can be involved. We use a variety of interactive materials, games and activities designed for children to have fun while learning about a serious topic. Presentations are 45 minutes long, and we ask that you book in half-day blocks consisting f three presentations for three different classrooms.
You will receive our new safety activity booklet, which covers the presentation to help reinforce our safety messages. Once you set up a booking, a student in your area will contact you to set up a time that is suitable to you both.
