​TDG - TRANSPORTATION OF ​DANGEROUS GOODS

In-Class Training
Canadian law requires that any person shipping, handling, or transporting dangerous goods must be trained in accordance with Transport Canada’s standards. Our Certification program has been developed in compliance with Transport Canada’s Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act and Regulations.

A TDG certificate is valid for three years. TDG certificates are not transferable (a new certificate is required each time a driver changes employment).
Course Description:
The Saskatchewan Safety Council TDG course will properly prepare a driver to safely perform their job.

Topics Covered:
Identification and classification of dangerous goods
Responsibilities of consignors, carriers, and consignees
Emergency response plans
Assessing compliance through driver audits
How to report an incident
General exemptions and special requirements

Course Duration: 4 Hours
