ATV and UTV 

Scheduled Courses and Group Bookings available
Scheduled: Sign up for one of our scheduled courses in Saskatoon or Regina listed on the Event Calendar. Bring your ATV or UTV and all your safety gear. ATV and UTV rentals are available for an additional cost. 
 
Group Bookings  (Minimum 4, Maximum 8 Participants per Group, multiple groups can be done at once) Can be done in a community near you! You can supply the machines or we can supply rentals for an additional cost.
Course Description:
Training for the recreational use or business application of All-Terrain or Utility Terrain/Task Vehicles. This hands-on learning program prioritizes the safety implications of machine operation while maintaining an awareness of surroundings, thereby teaching participants to avoid incidents.

​Delivered by Canada Safety Council-certified instructors, the ATV/UTV program places emphasis on compliance with Part 11 and Table 11 of the OH & S Regulations.

​Topics Covered:
  • Legislation and regulations (The Saskatchewan Employment Act and the OH&S Regulations (Saskatchewan))
  • All-terrain Vehicles Act & Regulations (Saskatchewan)
  • Proper riding gear
  • Inspecting your ATV
  • Starting procedures
  • Proper riding techniques and operation
  • Navigating different terrain types (obstacles, slopes/hills)
  • Laws and regulations
  • Preparing for emergencies

Each rider must provide his or her own ATV that is in safe working condition. For UTV side-by-side units, 2 riders can share one vehicle which must also be in safe working condition.

PPE required – all participants must wear an approved helmet, safety glasses or face shield, gloves, long-sleeved shirt, full-length pants, and ankle high boots.


Rental units are available.

Note: The ARGO Operator training course is a separate training course and is not part of the ATV or UTV training course. There is a water component in the Argo course, all ARGO models are fully amphibious.
