Started by a group of concerned individuals, the aim of the conference was to give safety professionals in Saskatchewan a forum to discuss areas of common concern. It was an opportunity to bring a high quality safety event to the province. Over the last 49 years, the event has grown to become one of the largest of its type in western Canada.

WHY ATTEND THE SASKATCHEWAN SAFETY SEMINAR?
Annually, each Seminar is planned by a committee comprised of representatives from a broad variety of industries who select keynote and session presenters based on a first-hand understanding of what the most relevant, current, and pressing issues are. The Seminar is an excellent opportunity for new or experienced safety practitioners (or those who wish to learn from them) to attend professional development sessions with experts on a variety of current safety related topics. From it, participants leave with new and relatable information, knowledge of best practices, and tools which can be used to help improve and promote a safer work environment. |

COVID-19:
Due to the surge in COVID-19 cases the 2022 Saskatchewan Safety Seminar has once again transitioned to an online experience available without travel costs, check-in lines, or coat checks. Everyone will always have a great seat. The food may or may not be better... that's entirely up to you.
There will be 4 Keynote live-webinar presentations by experts that can help inspire and re-focus on our safety roles. There will also be 3 - live-webinar workshops. Each of these sessions can be registered into individually or you can register for all sessions and save. The times and dates for these will be spread across multiple days to reduce online fatigue and heighten your ability to absorb information.
