Volunteer opportunities are available to residents of the province of Saskatchewan. As part of our efforts to strengthen our volunteer program and ensure a consistent, positive experience for everyone involved, we have developed a new online volunteer onboarding training system. This training is completely free and a requirement for anyone volunteering on behalf of the Council, be that as a steering committee member, a Social Media Advocate, someone delivering our babysitting resources, or attending community events on our behalf etc.
This online training is designed to provide all volunteers with a baseline understanding of the Council’s history and its current activities to prevent injuries that take place in the home, on Saskatchewan roads, in workplaces, and while taking part in recreational activities.
You may elect to volunteer in any, or all the following capacities (a detailed explanation of each is included in the General Orientation portion of the training which takes approximately 50 minutes to complete):
Thank you for your commitment to injury prevention. We’re excited about what lies ahead and hope you'll become part of our team helping us lead the way in the creation of a province of safety excellence.
