MOTORCYCLE: ADVENTURE RIDER TRAINING

In this two-day course, participants are taught the fundamental techniques of off-road riding and will progress to a much higher level. These basic techniques are the core elements of novice through to advanced riding.

The course is based on Enduro Park Canada’s content. 


Topics Covered: 
  • Slow-speed maneuvering and control 
  • Motorcycle off-road set-up 
  • Picking up a motorcycle off-road 
  • Correct body position/balance 
  • Throttle and clutch control 
  • Cornering 
  • Braking / Emergency braking 
  • Ascending and descending hills safely and confidently 
  • Emergency hill stop & turn around 
  • Riding over/around obstacles 
  • Multi-surface riding – gravel, dirt, sand  
  • Trail riding / Practice
Participants are responsible for their own lunch and hydration (drinks/water).

Additional Information: 
  • The course continues regardless of the weather conditions. Be prepared for rain and shine.
  • Recommended motorcycles are anything road-legal 250cc and over, including street-legal dual-sport and adventure-type motorcycles with off-road-oriented tires.
  • The course is physically and mentally demanding.
  • Your motorcycle must be registered and plated with a government entity. The Saskatchewan Safety Council will not cover the cost of accidental damage to your motorcycle. You are responsible for any damage incurred to the vehicle you use for the course.

Mandatory Equipment for ALL Motorcycle Students: 
  • Over-the-ankle boots: hiking boots, work boots, motorcycle boots – (high-top runners are not allowed)
  • Safety glasses, goggles, or face shield
  • Motorcycle jacket or other heavy-weight denim or leather jacket
  • Full-length pants or motorcycle pants - A minimum of heavy-weight denim jeans with no holes/tears
  • Full-finger gloves
  • Rain jacket and pants (optional, but highly recommended)
  • Adventure/Enduro Street Legal motorcycle: all makes and models are welcome
  • ​An approved (DOT, Snell, CSA, ANSI, ECE) helmet

Registration Terms & Conditions
Thank you for choosing to train with the Saskatchewan Safety Council. Revenues generated by the Council through the delivery of these training courses are invested within the province of Saskatchewan to further promote safety in our communities.

Terms and Conditions
All pricing subject to applicable taxes.
As soon as a class is paid for your seat is reserved. Thank you for doing everything you can to attend a class you have registered for.

Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations received more than ten (10) days prior to a course are refunded in full.
Cancellation requests received up to and including ten (10) days prior to the start of a course are subject to an $80 fee. Your refund for a cancellation will be the price you paid less $80.
All cancellations or transfer requests must be received by email or telephone/voicemail.
Non-attendance will result in a charge of 100% of the course cost. There are no refunds for no-shows.
Substitutions and transfers are accepted, within the calendar year, if they are received more than ten (10) days prior to the first day of the course.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule courses at any time. We may cancel, postpone or reschedule a course at our discretion. If an available substitute date(s) is not suitable to you, you will receive a full refund.
