The 8-hour Experienced Rider Training program is a motorcycle rider improvement course for active riders wanting to advance their ability to skillfully handle and maneuver their bikes. Knowledgeable instructors work closely with participants on their own motorcycles to ensure development at their targeted pace and comfort level.
Course Description: The program is approximately 8 hours in length and is held on a Saturday or Sunday. It is taught to a small group of riders by two or three trained instructors which means you are provided with focused attention. Cost: $275 Course Duration: 1 Day 9 AM to 5 PM |

The classroom portion consists of an interactive lecture and discussion about riding techniques, limits and risks.
Participants receive approximately six hours of practical riding and coaching on a variety of topics.
The practical portion begins with a technical inspection of your bike's brakes, suspension, tires and general condition (to ensure it will be safe for the riding session).

Who Should Take the Course?
- Riders who are completely comfortable with their motorcycle and have reached the limit of what they can teach themselves
- Riders with multiple years of riding experience but no previous formal motorcycle training or education (If you are a new rider please register for our Basic Rider Training program)
- Basic Rider Training course graduates wanting to take the next step in training
- Riders who want to significantly improve their overall motorcycle handling skills in normal traffic riding situations

As soon as a class is paid for your seat is reserved. Thank you for doing everything you can to attend a class you have registered for.
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations received more than ten (10) days prior to a course are refunded in full.
Cancellation requests received up to and including ten (10) days prior to the start of a course are subject to an $80 fee. Your refund for a cancellation will be the price you paid less $80.
All cancellations or transfer requests must be received by email or telephone/voicemail.
Non-attendance will result in a charge of 100% of the course cost. There are no refunds for no-shows.
Substitutions and transfers are accepted, within the calendar year, if they are received more than ten (10) days prior to the first day of the course.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule courses at any time. We may cancel, postpone or reschedule a course at our discretion. If an available substitute date(s) is not suitable to you, you will receive a full refund.

2. Read the Mandatory Equipment List and Additional Information below:
Mandatory Equipment for ALL Motorcycle Students:
An approved (DOT, Snell, CSA, ANSI, ECE). A 3-quarter, modular or full-face helmet is suggested
Over the ankle boots: hiking boots, work boots, motorcycle boots – (high-top runners are not allowed)
Safety glasses, goggles, or face shield
Motorcycle jacket or other heavy weight denim or leather jacket
Full length pants or motorcycle pants and/or chaps - A minimum of heavy weight denim jeans with no holes/tears
Full finger tight fitting gloves (leather is recommended)
Rain jacket and pants (optional, but highly recommended)
Additional Information:
The course continues regardless of the weather conditions. Be prepared for rain and shine.
All riding gear is a MUST. If you show up without the proper gear – YOU WILL NOT RIDE!
The course is physically demanding.
Lunch is not provided. Please bring a lunch and refreshments for weekend courses. Lunch will be a “working lunch”.
Damage to student owned vehicles will not be covered by the Saskatchewan Safety Council.
We strictly enforce our safety rules – your safety and the safety of others during training are of top priority. Students may be asked to leave the class for disruptive or dangerous behavior, or for safety reasons.

Prerequisites and Rules:
- You must have a minimum of two full years of on-road riding experience. Motorcycle Novice 1, Novice 2, M Endorsement or equivalent M Endorsement from another jurisdiction
- You must bring a properly licensed and insured motorcycle to the course, as well as proof of ownership / registration. If the motorcycle is not registered in your name, a signed note from the registered owner is required
- The motorcycle must be in good condition, especially tires, brakes and suspension
- You must have proper riding gear that is to be worn at all times during the riding day
- Unsafe behavior may result in your removal from the course
- The course will proceed rain or shine, so bring appropriate clothing for the weather
- We highly recommend that you bring sunscreen and drinks as there is limited shade and the course is physically demanding
- The ERT program is not a "race course" program
