Course Description:
The group starts by refreshing fundamental information on driving. This covers any gaps in the knowledge the participant may have and builds awareness of information all drivers should recall. The course then moves into a focus on driver risk tolerance, driver motivations, why drivers make the decisions they do and how risk tolerance can be affected by each form of impairment. These learning outcomes are designed to transition a driver from being reactive or defensive to proactive.

"Admittedly, I was reluctant at first, being that SGI kinda "forced" me into attending, but when it's all said and done, I am quite happy that I did. It was refreshing to review the stuff that I already knew but somehow forgot to implement in daily driving. I've found a vast improvement since attending the course. It was a relaxing course with lots of group participation. The instructor was cool A.F. And it's interesting to learn of the many other courses that SSC has to offer including Safe Motorcycle Training, something I may inquire about in the future. All in all, it's worth the time to attend, whether "forced" by your insurance company or to simply brush up on information." - Jeff
